Kennedy signed Public Law 87-726 designating May 15th as Peace Officer’s Memorial Day. National Police week honors those who have lost their lives in the line of duty while protecting and serving their communities. Join us in celebrating and honoring all of our Law Enforcement for National Police Week.
The Kerrville Police Department, joined by numerous other jurisdictions, commemorated National Peace Officers Memorial Day this morning front of the Kerrville City Hall on Monday, May 15. KPD Chief Chris McCall read off the names of 9 Texas law enforcement officers who have recently lost their lives.
